1. Full Phi Phi and Maya Bay speedboat from Phuket

This is the efficient mainland option for travellers based around Phuket: early transfer, fast crossing, then a shared circuit commonly including Maya Bay, Pileh Lagoon and a snorkel stop. It is a long day, not a relaxed island stay; check the pickup time before booking flights or dinner.

2. Phi Phi day tour from Krabi

Krabi-based boats are useful from Ao Nang or Krabi Town, but confirm the actual pier and road transfer because the headline city is not always the departure point. Keep the evening free; a return delayed by wind or pier queues is normal rather than a tour failure.

3. Private longtail Le circuit from Phi Phi Don

If you are sleeping on Don, a private longtail can slow the circuit down around Maya Bay, Pileh, Viking Cave and Loh Samah. Agree the route, waiting time, park fee and cancellation terms at the pier. The boat is private; the national-park stops are not.

4. Bamboo Island snorkel package

A dedicated Bamboo Island trip is the better choice when you want sand and shallow-water snorkelling, rather than an overfilled Maya Bay checklist. A sunset boat is a gentler second water day after an early Maya Bay departure. It may include a brief snorkel, a beach stop or simply an evening coastal loop, but should not be sold as a replacement for the national-park circuit. Choose it only after checking the forecast and meeting point, and keep your return-to-hotel logistics simple if you are staying away from Tonsai.

6. Discover Scuba or certified diving day

Diving deserves a separate day, whether you are trying Discover Scuba or joining certified dives. Read the medical requirements, disclose conditions honestly, and allow the operator to decide whether the weather and your experience suit the planned sites.
