7-day Krabi itinerary with guided tours
A full Krabi week of guided boats, Emerald Pool and Tiger Cave, kayaking, cooking and weather-flex time.
This seven-day guided Krabi itinerary spaces out boats, a jungle-and-temple circuit, and one deliberately easy final day. Stay in Ao Nang for the most reliable pickup coverage, book the boat days first, and keep one island route movable for weather. Guided packages are especially useful for Phi Phi, Hong and the Emerald Pool circuit because transfers, crews, park procedures and lunch are handled together. Prefer direct longtails and a private driver? Compare the 7-day Krabi self-drive itinerary and the Krabi destination guide.

Choose one priority outer-island day, then Four Islands, then the land circuit. Confirm the pickup point and inclusion list before paying; Ao Nang hotels are usually straightforward, while more remote resorts can have a supplement. Do not buy two consecutive speedboat days just because an operator discounts them.
- Day 1 — Arrival and Ao Nang sunset
- Day 2 — Railay and Phra Nang
- Day 3 — Four Islands package
- Day 4 — Emerald Pool, Hot Springs and Tiger Cave tour
- Day 5 — Hong Island OR Phi Phi package
- Day 6 — Ao Thalane kayak or Koh Lanta-flavoured flex
- Day 7 — Cooking class or spa farewell
Days 1–2 — Settle in, then enjoy Railay
Use day 1 for your hotel and a light Ao Nang or Noppharat Thara walk. On day 2, take a small-group Railay outing or hotel-arranged boat, allowing time for West Railay and Phra Nang instead of combining every beach in a frantic loop. Wet feet boarding longtails is normal; a dry bag and sandals make it uncomplicated.
Live Railay and sunset options

Day 3 — Four Islands package
Four Islands is the essential first boat day: Chicken Island, Poda, Tup’s tide-dependent sandbar and snorkelling around Moh. A package makes pier transfers and park logistics simple. Ask whether fees are included, follow the crew’s tide and weather call, and avoid expecting the sandbar at every time of day.
Live Four Islands and Poda tours
Live experience cards load in the article for: four islands, chicken island, poda, snorkel.
Day 4 — Emerald Pool, Hot Springs and Tiger Cave
Break the sea routine with a guided inland circuit. Emerald Pool is best early, Hot Springs gives a relaxed middle stop, and Tiger Cave Temple is optional for anyone not ready for a strenuous staircase. Blue Pool access varies, so do not treat it as guaranteed. Wear temple-appropriate clothes and carry water.
Live Emerald Pool and Tiger Cave tours
Live experience cards load in the article for: emerald pool, hot springs, tiger cave.
Day 5 — Hong Island or Phi Phi
Hong Island is the less exhausting choice, centred on lagoon scenery, a viewpoint and beach time. Phi Phi is the bigger, longer speedboat headline with Maya Bay and Pileh Lagoon. Choose one according to forecast and your appetite for transit, and ask the crew what route changes are likely in current conditions.
Live Hong Island and Phi Phi tours
Live experience cards load in the article for: hong island, phi phi, maya bay, bamboo island.
Days 6–7 — Mangroves, cooking and a flexible close
A guided Ao Thalane kayak day is a calm limestone-and-mangrove counterpoint to speedboats. Koh Lanta is better treated as an ambitious option or split-stay rather than a promise on a week itinerary. Finish with a cooking class or spa, and use the final day as weather insurance if an island route moved.
Live Krabi kayaking and cooking options
Live experience cards load in the article for: kayak, cooking class, thai cooking.
Guided or independent?
Guides make the long crossings and inland driving feel easy; independent travel gives more control on Railay and soft beach days. Continue with the guided day-trip guide, or scale down to the 3-day and 5-day guided plans.
