Booking order and route

Secure the island boat day first, especially December to February, then schedule Railay and an easy recovery evening around it. Do not put Phi Phi into a three-day plan unless it is the only boat experience you want; Four Islands or Hong gives more time in Krabi itself. Hong Island is a quieter alternative with a lagoon and viewpoint, but the longer open-water crossing is more forecast-sensitive.
