Before choosing a Lanta day out

Stay near Klong Dao, Long Beach, Klong Khong or Klong Nin for easy departures, and do not book Koh Haa, Koh Rok and Four Islands on consecutive days unless you genuinely enjoy speedboats.

7. Kantiang Bay and Bamboo Bay coast

Use a private driver, songthaew arrangement, or a scooter only if you have real experience for the south-coast beach loop. Kantiang offers restaurants and a broad bay; Bamboo Bay feels quieter and more remote. Pack water and make this a swim-and-read day, not a fast lap of every cove.
